Ocean Gazing

Have you ever stared out to the horizon of the ocean? It’s a peaceful yet mysterious moment, isn’t it?

That was the inspiration for this abstract painting, a meditation on the ocean. From a distance, the waves fade info one vast voluminous mass of water, from the dark depths ofthe bottom, to the light airy expanse of the sky. Simple, soothing, peaceful, ocean.

Many of my paintings are so complex, it was refreshingly simple and zen-like to relax in this contemplative piece.
